A discussion seminar on qualitative methodologies took place on 26 May 2011. The event was organised by the Research Methodologies Subcommittee of Committee on Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

Márton Czirfusz represented CNHRI at the workshop entitled "Regional Socio-Economic Processes in Central and Eastern Europe - 20 Years in Transition and 2 Years in Global Economic Crisis".

The research fellow of CNHRI presented papers in Sweden on the Vetenskapsfestivalen (The International Science Festival).
