The volume edited by Alessandro Colombo titled „Subsidiarity Governance, Theoretical and Empirical Models” contains works of Hungarian authors as well. The book examines the theoretical and practical questions of subsidiarity, with a particular emphasis on the horizontal dimensions of subsidiarity. The volume contains works from Italian, British, French, Hungarian and New Zelander authors. Several studies deal with experiences of the functioning of the Italian region of Lombardy. Two authors, Gyula Horváth „A hornet’s nest or the climax of the change of regime? The dilemmas of creating regions in Central and Eastern Europe”, and Balázs Lóránd (PTE Faculty of Economics) „An unfinished journey. Lombardy on the road to decentralization” published studies in the book.
